Dot-Con

Dot-Con Video

Today there are plenty of explanations about what happened in the dot-com bubble. One of the more interesting video reports is the Frontline special Dot-Con. It covers the dot-com meltdown from start to finish.

You can watch a clip here about Wall Street analysts (QuickTime Video).

Keep in mind, the fact that these companies were good or bad had no bearing on your trading decisions if you were trading from a technical trend following perspective. The only variable Trend Followers cared about was the price. From a historical perspective the report is interesting, with special fire aimed at Wall Street analysts, but you did not need to know what Frontline reports to have traded properly.
